The last few weeks he's had a bit of a cold and cough, but now he's well and truly over that.
Anyway, here's a few picture for all those keeping up with the progress of "our little man".
He really can smile.....real nice!

Daddy and Lachlan out with the birds!
"Lachlan, this is a budgerigar"
Mummy and Lachlan! Mum's touch always seems to do the trick when it comes to getting Lachy to sleep.
Lachlan is a great snuggler!
Isn't he just beautiful!
I am thinking of patenting this technique for dealing with "up the backers!". There is just no way of getting a good go at it if they are on their back! Try it...it works!

Unfortunately Grandad Downs is in hospital with a back problems. Little Lachlan got to spend some time with Lachlan. Grandad says it made his day!
Picture 1: Cuddles from Mummy and Daddy! This whole parenting thing is pretty tiring!

Picture 2: Michael and Diane came to visit.
Picture 3: Cousin Sarah has a hold.
Picture 4: Life for Lachlan is still pretty "cruisy".
Picture 1: Mum and Dad took Lachlan for a stroll down to the shops in the late afternoon. Lachlan slept the whole way there and the whole way back.
This weekend was pretty full on for Lachlan. A few outings here and there. On Saturday we went to see his great aunty Vicki who was visiting from Sydney. Dad went to the football to watch the Canberra Raiders beat Parramatta. However, grandpa Ceely was at home trying to "brainwash" little Lachlan into becoming a Parra supporter. Shame on him!
Picture 1: By the look on Lachlan's face he didn't like the idea of supporting Parramatta. The Raiders gace it to Parra and won 38 - 10.
Picture 2: Aunty Michelle has a cuddle of little Lachlan.
Picture 3: A special present from our neighbours Jamie and Leanne - A baby cake made up of towels, a little hat, face washers and a teddy. What a great idea!
Today the community nurse came. Lachlan has put on approx 340 grams since leaving hospital on Tuesday. The nurse was surprised saying that he's put on the same amount of weight that they expect babies to put on in 2 weeks. Mothers milk is just right!
Picture 2: More of the same today...sleeping and eating. Here I managed to get a shot of him yawning. By the way....I think he'll be a fireman when he grows up, he was testing his hose on Daddy today!
Picture 3: I wonder where these feet will take him? Lachlan has already been invited to the Torres Strait to do some fishing (thankyou Bro and Sis Charlie David). Last night we ran the orphanage in North East India and they desperately want to see him there. "Lord, I pray he uses these feet for you and goes where You want him".Well, it has been one week since the big day and Lachlan is changing everyday. He definately prefers being home in his own house rather than being at the hospital. Since bringing him home he's been sleeping much better. Lachlan is also very alert and likes looking around the place. For the last few days between 11:00am and 12:00pm he likes to sit in his rocker looking at things in the room and amusing himself. Anyway...here's some pictures.

Wednesday night is Home Friendship Group and little Lachlan is the newest member of our group. We went to Grandpa and Grandma Ceelys house for HFG and Lachlan got to met everyone. Everyone was glad to see him. I'll have to have a few words with him, he slept right through the whole thing.
Picture 1: Heidi pays a visit! I reminded her that he's way to young for her!
Picture 2: Is this a smile of some sorts! He loves his bath. Daddy got to bath him on Wednesday night.
Picture 3: Daddy and Lachlan catching up on some z's.
