Monday night football in Canberra. It was freezing - actually snowing at times! And it started to rain the minute the game kicked off. Lachlan got to meet daddys childhood football idol Laurie Daley. What a nice guy! The Raiders won 34-10.

What Colour Is Skin?
And so begin the questions. Lachlan has already got me with 'What does a giraffe to?' (what noise does it make). I still don't know that one. I guessed what noise the meerkat makes - thankfully we were in the car and no one had to hear me.
He was having a shower the other night and with his concerned look/frown he said 'what colour this mummy?', pointing to his tummy. I said it is kind of pink, but that would not do - white? no. I resolved to saying 'skin colour'. That got a final 'oh' from Mr Curiosity.
And Happy Fathers Day to this wonderful man............

A Very Busy Weekend
This last weekend, we went to Sydney. Jonathan was preaching at a church on Sunday. We left Saturday morning and went stright to our hotel. Lachlan was very excited that he had his own bed (although he slept in the portacot!)
He spent a lot of time talking on the phone to pop, gran, hannah, jojo, Aunty Ruth, nicks, ahdad, grandma and Aunty Shell.
And passing a little bit of time with daddy....
On Monday it was a public holiday, so we decided to stay the day and take Lachlan to the zoo. The last time we went to the zoo was when I was 18 weeks pregnant, so officially it wasn't his first time there :)

Watching the seal show.
